Over het wijnhuis

In 1878, driven by the Piemonte Attitude, Enrico Serafino followed his dream of becoming a wine grower. Since then, for more than 140 years, we have harvested grapes from Barolo, Langhe, Roero and Monferrato. Today, Enrico Serafino is still family-owned maintaining the original artisanal soul, respect for future generations and passion for details that have distinguished the winery since the beginning.

Historie

History is the set of experience, failures and achievements, that build people character. It took more than 140 harvests to Enrico Serafino to define its personality. Meanwhile, around the world, events follow one another and shape our future. Enrico Serafino, heir to a rich family from Romano Canavese not involved in wine growing, moved to Canale, in the heart of the best area of Piemonte wines production. Carrying out an act of strong will, he begins the production of Barolo, Barbaresco, and Metodo Classico: the Enrico Serafino winery was born.

Visie & filosofie

Enrico Serafino’s Manifesto states our beliefs in the wine world. It is the expression of what we think regarding the glamour, quality and complexity of our wines. It also tackles the innovation vs. tradition dichotomy, oak ageing and our consumer approach. It is our love declaration for wines and winegrowers.
